This 53rd edition of the Journées Internationales Biologie (JIB) will be in the heart of the news towards two major topics:

Europe will be the guest of honour as France will assume the presidency of the European Union. Then we expect this year to enlarge JIB’s dimension to Europe and more and more to an international audience.

BioMI, Biologie Moléculaire Initiatives, a step onward for innovation and technologies in the JIB, will be developed in two parts:
- an area clearly defined with actors of the molecular biology sector
- a scientific session dedicated to molecular biology which will present the latest innovations and technologies as well as the current molecular diagnostics techniques which will transform in a near future the practise of tomorrow’s biology, medicine and health.
