Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology
The Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology was founded in 1968 in order to bring together all the scientists involved in the field of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology, to improve the scientific and professional expertise of its members, to promote the diffusion of scientific and technical publications, to establish Reference Laboratories, to cooperate with the other world wide Scientific Societies, to organise local, national and international meetings and courses.
Since 1992 SIBioC has acquired the legal status.
SIBioC is member of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), of the Forum of the European Society of Clinical Chemistry (FESCC).
